Herker Expands Swiss Turning Capabilities

Herker Industries has once again expanded its Swiss Turning capabilities with the recent acquisition of a Tsugami SS26 CNC Precision Automatic Lathe. The modular tool zone combines rotary tools, internal tool holders and turning tool holders to effectively handle complex parts. The ability to simultaneously machine with both main and sub spindles drastically reduces cycle time.
- Manufactures parts up to 26 mm diameter
- Wide tooling zone enables extended unmanned operation
- Maximum capacity of 35 fixed tools
This machine is ideal for the manufacture of various types of parts in short run or extended production. Through continuous investment in equipment technology, Herker increases production quality while decreasing turnaround time and costs for its customers.
